Portage Path Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Director of Quality Improvement and Compliance. The primary purpose of this position is to establish and maintain an effective Quality Assurance and Improvement Program agency-wide, ensure compliance with designated accreditation standards, and document relevant clinical policies and procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Establish and maintain an effective Quality Assurance & Improvement program throughout the entire agency.
- Develop and maintain risk management activities and ensure that the organization meets designated certifications and accreditation standards.
- Function as the organization’s HIPAA compliance officer.
- Function as the organization's Client Rights officer.
- Review, update, create, and implement policies and procedures.
- Establish and report outcomes.
- Monitor compliance through regular audits, data gathering, analysis, and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Report to the Vice President of Operations.
Requirements :
- Minimum qualifications of a Clinical Bachelor’s degree.
- Active Clinical Ohio License.
- Direct experience in a field related to mental health.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance & Improvement, auditing, program evaluation, data analysis and reporting, as well as risk management principles.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience directing a Quality Improvement Department and overseeing compliance with accreditation.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable accreditation standards and agency policies and procedures.
- Ability to plan and implement policy and procedure changes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
