General Superintendent Civil Land Development Base Salary to 150k / year College Station, TX
Our client is a leading civil land development company dedicated to excellence in project execution and client satisfaction.
With a strong commitment to quality and innovation, our client is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a General Superintendent.
In this role, you will oversee a team of 5-8 other superintendents, ensuring the successful completion of multiple Land Development projects including, land clearing, earthwork, utilities, electrical, and more.
The General Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing field operations, managing project schedules, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Leading a team of superintendents, the General Superintendent will coordinate with project managers to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee field operations for multiple civil land development projects.
- Manage project schedules to meet client expectations and project deadlines.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and compliance.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to coordinate project activities.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
- All projects within 1 hour radius, No Overnight travel required.
Qualifications :
- 7+ years of experience in civil land development or related field.
- Experience shooting grade and reading plans is required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
- Certification in construction management or related field is a plus.
Compensation :
- Base salary in the 120k 150k / year range
