Senior Sales Compensation Analyst

What You'll Do

  • Help execute the monthly sales compensation process including commission payments, analysis, accruals and payroll submission
  • Assist with systems and tooling configuration for crediting, calculations and reporting
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, Human Resources, Sales Operations, and Leadership to address and resolve disputes or inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Contribute to sales compensation plan design and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Adhere to internal controls (operational and SOX)
  • Use independent judgment to address issues and ad hoc scenarios concerning incentive plans, policies, and guidelines

What We're Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field or have equivalent experience, education or training
  • 5+ years of sales compensation experience, including 3+ years with Xactly Incent and Xactly Analytics or an equivalent ICM tool and 3+ years working in a large or highly matrixed organization, preferably in the technology industry
  • Strong problem-solving, mathematical, Excel and analytical skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Able to collaborate cross-functionally to align sales compensation programs with business and strategic objectives
  • Data-driven insights / recommendations to support informed decision-making
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity, work across time zones and flex hours as needed
  • Project manage and track cross-functional projects
  • Strong communicator (verbal and written)
  • Productive with minimum supervision

Work Hours :

This position will require you to be available during core business hours.

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.

This role may require up to 10% of travel time.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $95,170 to $132,170.

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
