Located in downtown Tampa, the Straz offers flexible hours, event-based schedules including evenings and weekends, and a team-based work environment.

Baristas possess the knowledge and skills to create and sell handcrafted beverages based on company recipes to the customer.
This is a great position for someone looking to get started in the customer service or hospitality fields. Work is split between our traditional coffee shop and concessions inside the theater lobby.
We're willing to train for all positions and we promote from within.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Creates a friendly and welcoming environment for Center guests.
- Makes recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverage recipes.
- Provides excellent customer service in a professional manner.
- Serves guests quickly and efficiently.
- Prepares and serves coffee drinks consistent with the Center's standards.
- Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
- Maintains cleanliness in all areas of workspace.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Must be willing to be fully vaccinated by date of hire, and boosted when eligible, unless a specific exemption or accommodation has been requested and approved based on current local, state, and federal laws.
- Must be willing and available to work on-site.
- Ability to work in a stand up for position for long periods of time (minimum 5 hours).
- Ability to work nights, weekend, and some holidays.
- Prior experience preferred, but not required.
Education and Work Experience :
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Prior experience as a Barista in a full-service, high volume restaurant preferred, but not required
