- The Director shall be a person of spiritual maturity, and in full agreement with the mission and vision statement of MHATC.
- Must be able to lead and multitask Management experience is needed to fulfill all responsibilities.
- The Director will need to understand the nature of addiction and all of its effects . He shall have knowledge of the various treatment approaches and realize that the only permanent cure to addiction is through Jesus Christ.
He shall be empathetic to those with life-controlling problems
The Director will need to know how to lead and interact with people everyday.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a Bible College or its equivalent.
- Five years Teen Challenge or similar ministry experience.
Relationships
The Director shall be employed by and accountable to the Executive Director and Program Director
Responsibities :
Will primarily serve as a minister to staff and students in the MHATC men’s program. Will lead the whole campus spiritually and will help develop how we effectively disciple the men and their families while in the program.
Responsibilities include but not be limited to :
Lead staff Conduct Bible studies Lead prayer Disciple students Conduct evangelistic outreach Engage in religious instruction Oversee the classroom Provide and effectively communicate vision and planning for all aspects of the campus Represent the campus in social, pastoral, community or business organizations through membership and involvement Networking with other local ministry leaders within the community Development of outreach ministries within the community
Support the Teen Challenge USA, Intl Accreditation Standards and fully cooperate with Teen Challenge USA leadership Act in accordance with established MHATC policy and procedures Act in accordance with all state regulations Recruitment, training, and direction of staff Assist the governing body in formulating policy Analyze and adhere to budget and review financial statements monthly Be responsible for all decisions affecting the campus as a whole Delegate duties and organize the administrative functions of the local program All other duties as assigned by Executive Director and Program Director.
