Textile Engineering Intern - Summer 2025

Overview

Springs Window Fashions is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Engineering Team! The Textile Engineer Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the team with project support while providing valuable work experience related to your chosen field of study.

Our paid internship program is known for having in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, as well as professional development, job shadowing and other growth opportunities.

Internship Projects and Responsibilities

• NPD Development
• Work with mentor to establish database of textile properties and how they influence product performance and manufacturing process parameters
• Collect and aggregate internal data (multiple sources)
• Identify key textile properties
• Interview textile engineers and other key personnel to expand and document knowledge
• Work with mentor to identify 2 or 3 properties to research
• Establish research and test plan to explore properties and how process parameters affect performance
• Conduct plan, analyze data, and record in database

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Previous internship experience in relevant function preferred
• Pursuing a 4-year degree with preferred current standing of Sophomore / Junior level
• Textile Engineering Major Preferred
• Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written and attention to detail)
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
