Grant Operations Assistant
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Grant Operations Assistant to join their Operations Team. Reporting to the Associate Director of Development Operations, this role plays a crucial part in supporting the Foundations Relations (FR) and Corporate Partners (CP) teams in securing gifts and grants for various programs for the client.

Grant Operations Assistant Responsibilities
- Maintain the integrity of the Raiser’s Edge / NXT and InfoEd databases, focusing on Opportunities, Actions, and Notes for FR and CP teams.
- Review, document, and upload notices of grant agreements and contracts to corresponding Opportunity records in the NXT database.
- Monitor and assess gift and grant Opportunity records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate and maintain filing systems, ensuring current documentation for proposal attachments and other critical data.
- Prepare and manage Action records in response to foundation deadlines and reporting requirements.
- Reconcile NXT Opportunity and Gift records with projections monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the creation of pending Action records for prospective foundations identified through prospecting efforts.
- Enter upcoming gifts and grants into NXT using Asana gift forms.
- Schedule and track payments, invoices, pledge reminders, acknowledgements, and other stewardship activities as outlined in gift / grant agreements and MOUs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, troubleshoot issues, and lead data cleanup projects as needed.
- Respond promptly to requests for information, service, and assistance from FR, CP, Operations, and Development teams.
- Adhere to department policies, procedures, and industry best practices, utilizing the hospital’s values as a guiding framework.
- Assist the Associate Director of Development Operations with additional duties in support of FR, CP, and Operations.
Grant Operations Assistant Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of two years focused on data analytics, process implementation, or operations in a nonprofit or for-profit setting.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Raiser's Edge, Raiser's Edge NXT, and InfoEd.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
Compensation : $20-$22 / hr. (DOE)
