The Marketing Pursuit Specialist will partner with marketing and technical staff firmwide to develop responsive proposal and qualifications packages.
The talented marketing professional will demonstrate SGH’s diverse technical services, be committed to producing strategic marketing materials, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing :
Developing, writing, editing, and proofreading content for proposals, presentations, resumes, project descriptions, proposal support materials (including government form templates), and related marketing materials of a complex nature.
Designing materials using branded templates in Adobe InDesign.
- Writing custom client- and benefit-focused content for proposals, highlighting SGH’s technical capabilities and the firm’s ability to specifically respond to the project requirements.
- Effectively articulating value propositions and differentiators through creative marketing, including infographics, call-outs, cover letters, and custom marketing collateral.
- Understanding and conveying technical topics.
- Collaborating effectively with senior technical staff, leadership, and marketing team members to prepare materials.
- Following all established team processes for document storage, project close-outs, and document reviews and approvals.
- Using Deltek Vision database to maintain and search for relevant content.
- Demonstrating exceptional written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
What You’ll Need :
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in proposal development, preferably within the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Disciplined project management skills to meet critical deadlines.
