BASIC PURPOSE : The primary purpose of the Logistics Fuel Scheduler is to be a liaison between operations (Logistics) and supply (Musket).

The Logistics Fuel Scheduler determines trucking needs to fulfill all market logistical requirements. The Logistics Fuel Scheduler is the primary operational contact for their given region, product category, including 3rd party customers purchasing bulk products.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintain inventory at all customer locations when requested.
• Manage existing customer relationships to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Market business capabilities to customers to enable growth of business
• Operate a multitude of systems to set up customers, margins, and pricing for service.
• Engage with Fuel Operations on setting up new customers in Telapoint.
• Work with customers to ensure quality service and timely deliveries.
• Apportions work among employees.
• Determines the type of equipment to be used in performing work (for deliveries).
• Work with varies Musket teams to ensure quality service and timely deliveries made by Gemini for customers.
• Maintains product inventory at all Love’s Travel Stops using sophisticated inventory replenishment / dispatch software.
• Monitors and analyzes scheduled delivery workload by determining availability of trucks; site storage restrictions; trailer compartment size options;

supply point options; delivery time requirements; driver DOT availability; traffic and weather condition, etc.

• Facilitates near real time supply point changes by coordinating with supply department; maximize profit and minimize delivery disruptions by adjusting dispatch as needed.
• Set up and maintain relationship with 3rd party carriers that will deliver on behalf of Gemini.
• Work with 3rd party carriers to ensure they follow the Love’s / Gemini company standard.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

• Education :
• High school Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience :
• 2 years of downstream trucking / logistics background

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

• Skills :
• Hard Skills : Knowledge of Microsoft Office, TelaPoint, AXXIS, Slack, Tableau Server
• Soft Skills : Good written and oral communication skills, data entry, team player, exceptional customer service, attention to detail, self-motivated, good time management skill, ability to multitask and excellent analytical skills
• Typical Physical Demands :
• Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
