What would this role do?
The Behavior Interventionist Trainer plays a critical role in equipping new Behavior Interventionists with foundational knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis and the skills necessary to be successful in their role delivering high-quality BHT services to 360 Behavioral Health clients.
The Behavior Interventionist Trainer is a support and service-oriented educator with excellent communication skills who equips new Behavior Interventionists to succeed in their roles serving our clients.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly training cohorts of live remote ABA training for new Behavior Interventionists joining the organization.
- Mentor newly hired Behavior Interventionist partner(s) through the established training process.
- Provide a warm welcome to all new partners and aid them in successfully starting their career.
- Provide feedback to partners regarding their performance.
- Communicate and model organization mission, vision, and values to partners in the cohorts.
- Partner with the home center to coordinate the schedule and completion of training.
- Monitor partner registration and scheduling for the weekly cohort.
- Effectively communicate with the home center
- Provide feedback on candidate performance to home center.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the ABA training program through continuous performance evaluation, partner engagement in training, and feedback;
propose adjustments to support the organization’s goals for new Behavior Interventionists
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-years’ experience working as a Behavior Interventionist utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Expert in technical knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis interventions.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and honest.
- Comfortable working in a client home remotely or in-person
- Able to lift 30 pounds when assisting clients
Nice to haves
- Mentorship experience; teaching others.
- Experience with delivery of training to a group.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with or knowledge of practice management / scheduling software desired.
