Job Title : HVAC Installer
Responsibilities :
- Installation of HVAC Systems :
- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems according to blueprints, manufacturer instructions, and building codes.
- Assemble and install ductwork and piping as required for HVAC systems.
- Equipment Setup and Testing :
- Set up HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Test installed systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- System Troubleshooting and Repair :
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues.
- Repair or replace defective components as needed to restore system functionality.
- Safety Compliance :
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety guidelines during installation and maintenance activities.
- Customer Interaction :
- Communicate with customers to explain installation procedures and system operation.
- Address customer questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Documentation and Reporting :
- Complete installation reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
- Record details of services provided, including parts used and work performed.
- Quality Assurance :
- Ensure installations meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify workmanship and system performance.
- Team Collaboration :
- Coordinate with other installers and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Assist colleagues with tasks and share knowledge to support team success.
- Continuous Learning :
- Stay updated on industry developments, new technologies, and installation techniques.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Equipment Maintenance :
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment to prolong lifespan and optimize performance.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in installation and maintenance activities.
- Adherence to Schedule :
- Ensure installations are completed within scheduled timelines.
- Communicate any delays or challenges promptly to supervisors or project managers.
