We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the design and deployment of our Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with our existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain systems.
The Salesforce Solution Architect will play a critical role in the successful implementation and management of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
This role involves defining best practices for system scalability, leading integration efforts, and ensuring that our Salesforce solutions meet the business needs of the organization.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce architecture, strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, and a proven track record in system integration and best practice implementation.
This is a hybrid position based in Austin, TX.
In This Role
- Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud solutions to support the business operations of the furniture distribution sector
- Define and implement best practices for scaling the Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security
- Oversee the integration of Salesforce with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability
- Manage the full lifecycle of Salesforce projects from inception to deployment, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment
- Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to understand requirements, define solutions, and ensure successful project delivery
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams, integration plans, and system configurations
- Provide training and support to internal teams on Salesforce functionalities, best practices, and new features.
- Stay current with Salesforce updates, new features, and industry trends to continually improve and optimize the Salesforce ecosystem

The Ideal Person
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect) are highly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce architecture and implementation, with a strong focus on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs
- Strong understanding of integration methodologies and tools, especially related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain
- Proficiency in data migration and management, ETL processes, and data integration best practices
- Proven experience in managing complex Salesforce projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, and project delivery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
