Job Description
Role Summary
We are seeking a Client Engagement Director to lead and manage our Client Partner team on a day-to-day basis. This role will serve as the strategic coach, performance driver, and escalation point for all client partners, ensuring alignment with revenue goals, delivery excellence, and client satisfaction. Additionally, hybrid role will be responsible to carry an individual sales number along with a team lead group sales number, expected to generate new revenue by driving pipeline development, opportunity closure, and account growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client Partner Oversight & Enablement
- Serve as the daily leader and performance coach for the Client Partner team
- Provide guidance on account strategy, client engagement best practices, and solution positioning
- Track KPIs across the client partner portfolio (pipeline, CSAT, renewals, expansion)
- Ensure Client Partners are delivering value and driving measurable business outcomes for their accounts
- Step in as key sponsor or escalation point for key client relationships as needed
Revenue Ownership & Sales Leadership
Own an individual sales number and be accountable for generating revenue via net new sales or account expansionsDevelop and execute go-to-market plans aligned with rSTAR’s offerings and industry verticalsDrive pipeline generation through networking, referrals, strategic prospecting, and collaboration with marketingLead or support strategic deals and complex negotiationsPartner with solution architects and delivery leaders to shape proposals and ensure delivery alignmentCross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing to influence campaigns, content, and events that support sales growthCollaborate with delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution and renewalsLiaise with Partner Managers and Alliances teams to co-sell with platforms like Oracle, Salesforce, Google, and MicrosoftRequired Qualifications
10+ years of experience in IT services sales, client engagement, or enterprise account managementProven ability to manage teams (directly or in a dotted-line model) and coach them toward sales / revenue goals reporting to the VP of Client EngagementStrong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotasFamiliarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), proposal writing, and sales pipeline managementExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsExperience selling digital transformation services, managed services, or technology consultingPreferred Qualifications
Prior experience managing Client Partners, Account Managers, or Sales ExecutivesPrior experience with IT Consulting companies in hunting and farming concepts with key enterprise target accountsExperience with platforms like Salesforce, Oracle, Google, Microsoft, or cloud solutionsExposure to multiple verticals such as Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, or other Asset Intensive industriesUnderstanding of partner-led selling and co-sell motions with large OEMsRequirements
Excellent experience in IT Services, System Integration
Prior experience managing Client Partners, Account Managers, or Sales ExecutivesPrior experience with IT Consulting companies in hunting and farming concepts with key enterprise target accountsExperience with platforms like Salesforce, Oracle, Google, Microsoft, or cloud solutionsExposure to multiple verticals such as Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, or other Asset Intensive industriesUnderstanding of partner-led selling and co-sell motions with large OEMsBenefits
