This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment where you will play a crucial role in the financial management of our operations.

As our Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.

You will also collaborate with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.

This role requires 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

We are on the hunt for a dynamic, detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our thriving construction company. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment where you will play a crucial role in the financial management of our operations.

As our Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.

You will also collaborate with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.

This role requires 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain accurate financial records of all transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Regularly update and manage our accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
  • Regularly review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and manage tax payments.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of every bank account.
  • Develop periodic reports for management.
  • Audit financial transactions and documents.
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
  • Keep up with financial policies, regulation, and legislation.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Bookkeeper in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software packages.
  • Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
  • Proven ability to handle high levels of confidentiality.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
