Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator II for the Athletics Marketing & Communication department.
Among the key duties of the position are the following :
- Oversees, coordinates, and manages all marketing, game presentation, fan experience, advertising, and promotional efforts for Rutgers Athletics for assigned sports including football.
- Assists with other duties as assigned including but not limited to : increasing attendance and enhancements for event atmosphere and experiences.
- Leads videoboard presentation, selection of music and campus / community athletics-marketing relations.

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in sports administration, marketing or related field or an equivalent combination of education and / or experience.
Certifications / Licenses
A valid driver’s license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to make decisions independently.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications
- One to two years of experience working in sports marketing / event management field.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and / or other graphics.
