Certified Coding Supervisor

A company is looking for a Supervisor Coding / Abstracting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily coding workflow and ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy of coding

Supervise and coordinate medical coders, manage staffing schedules, and implement denial mitigants

Educate staff on current coding regulations and assist in developing policies and procedures related to coding

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree in a related field preferred

2 years of supervisory experience and 3 years of coding experience in a healthcare setting

Minimum of five years of coding or charge capture experience, including two years in a supervisory role

Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding

Certification as a Coding Specialist or Professional Coder required
