Litigation Associate - Columbia, SC
A well-established law firm seeks a highly motivated litigation associate to join its growing South Carolina team. Must live near Columbia. Possibility for some remote / hybrid work at managers discretion. Recent grads are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities :
- Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters
- Draft legal documents
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop winning litigation strategies.
- Maintain excellent communication and collaboration skills, effectively interacting with clients, opposing counsel, and the firm's legal team.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant legal developments and case law in South Carolina.
- Manage deadlines and adhere to strict ethical guidelines.
- Attend court hearings
Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 years of experience in civil litigation preferredAdmitted to the South Carolina Bar, in good standing.Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex legal matters to clients and the court.Superior time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload while meeting deadlines.Proficient in legal research databases and case management software.Compensation and Benefits :
