Business Development Manager

Location : Spartanburg, SC

Pay : $65K-$75K salary + commission

Schedule : 8am to 5pm

Our client is America’s largest 100% employee owned business in its industry.

They are looking for you, an experienced Business Development Manager who has experience in outside business to business sales.

You will play a critical role in driving the company’s growth strategy by identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in an untapped market.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong networking skills and a proven track record in business development, preferably within the staffing industry.

What you get to do :

  • Network within the business community to identify opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients
  • Prospect within the market to engage with prospective clients
  • Discover customer’s painpoints and present the company’s value proposition to secure new business agreements

What you need to succeed :

  • 3 years of business development / outside sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • Strategic thinking, organization, and ability to self-motivate
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, creating mutually respectful partnerships internally
  • Acumen with technology and business tools for documentation, prospecting, pipeline management, etc.
  • Valid driver’s license
