SCC seeks a full-time Foundation and Marketing Coordinator who will assist both the Foundation and Marketing offices as part of a team of creative and technical professionals and specialists.
This person will work to build the brand of SCC and increase and strengthen relationships with individuals and corporations that will positively impact the college and its ability to achieve its mission and vision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned :
- Responsible for the administration of the Foundation's scholarship program, by updating information on packets, website and fliers as needed, distributing applications, recording information and handling awards / denials as stated in the scholarship policy and procedure document, supporting the Foundation staff and Foundation Board scholarship committee by qualifying applications and creating packets for their review.
- Provide support on the full fundraising cycle. Assist in implementation and creation of donor stewardship and communications plans including, but not limited to, updating the donor wall annually and organizing special projects.
- Update College webpages, as necessary.
- Assist with project management for the Marketing team.
- Coordinate financials for both the Foundation and Marketing offices including processing of donations, donor acknowledgement, revenues, billing, and expenses.
- Handle mailings / fulfillment as needed for the office, along with provide general administrative support for the Foundation and Marketing offices.
- Organize and maintain filing system including forms, due dates, and reports.
- Maintain policies and procedures manual.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree in non-profit, business, communications or related field, or equivalent experience required.
- Strong computer skills with good knowledge of developing and maintaining databases and mailing lists.
- Good writing skills and grammar use, detail oriented, with excellent organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, and the ability to follow through and manage multiple projects.
