Revenue Cycle Data Analyst will conduct full lifecycle analytical activities to include requirements analysis and design, development of data analysis, reporting, visualization enhancement utilizing business intelligence tools, continuous monitoring of performance and quality control plans to identify opportunities.
These analytic activities will be applied to claims data, EMR data, HRA data and other health care data sources.The Sr. Revenue Cycle Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the configuration and administration of analytic tools, the development and use of databases, data marts, reports, dashboards and the interpretation of data and analysis results using statistical techniques.
Also supports the filing, filtering and cleansing of data and applying quality control techniques to reports, outcomes and performance indicators to locate and correct basic coding problems.
Additional responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends and patterns in data sets to help determine workflow priorities and initiatives and to measure the effectiveness of these initiatives.Essential Functions

- Develops graphs, reports, and presentations of project results

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with claims data, EMR data, HRA data, clinical terminology, clinical guidelines, clinical outcomes and healthcare utilization measures.
- Revenue Cycle Management background
- Experience with one or more of the following EMR systems : Epic, AllScripts, Mod Med, Medent, or eClinical Works
- Advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, graphing, macros and VBA scripting)
- Crystal Reports
- Tableau or Power BI Experience
- Access
