Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Industrial Control System Design / Software Engineer at Oakmount Control Systems Limited in Plymouth.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Developing effective cross-functional relationships and appropriate ways of working with both the electrical and mechanical elements of the business.
- Researching & recommending potential new technologies, processes, and ways of working that could be beneficial to the company to optimise performance, quality, and profitability.
- Ensuring that customer specifications and delivery requirements are fully evaluated and agreed with customers, both internal and external.
- Effective self-management to achieve agreed targets.
- Communicating any issues that may hinder the achievement of agreed targets.
- Commissioning, servicing, and supporting projects manufactured by ourselves at our customers' premises both in the UK and overseas.
- Ensuring that documentation is produced and completed in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Ensuring that agreed performance, quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.
