Pharmacist Float Pool
Position Summary
This position will work a mix of shifts based on pharmacy enterprise needs. The primary location for this role is in the Minneapolis Inpatient Pharmacy, but may also float to the Outpatient Pharmacy (Minneapolis or St.
Paul), the St. Paul inpatient pharmacy, and the Home Care Pharmacy. Â
HOURS : .6 FTE to .8 FTEÂ
SHIFT : Â Day / Eve / Night Every
WEEKENDS : Every other weekend
- Graduate from a college / school of Pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) OR graduate from a foreign college of pharmacy that has at least a five-year curriculum and has passed the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) and become certified by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Commission (FPGEC), required.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited institution, preferred.
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Minnesota current or within three months of hire, required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current or within 3 months of hire, required.
- PharmD degree or equal clinical experience preferred for decentral.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred for decentral.
- Institutional or outpatient experience preferred, depending on position.
- Pediatric Residency, preferred.
- Board Certified Pediatric Pharmacy Specialist (BCPPS), preferred.
- Minnesota Board of Pharmacy preceptor license, preferred.

The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple jobs within a salary grade. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs.
Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children's Minnesota.
