Legal Financial Systems Manager – Aderant

LaSalle Network has partnered with a prestigious law firm based in Chicago, IL, seeking a skilled and dynamic Legal Financial Systems Manager Aderant to lead the implementation and conversion of their financial systems from ProLaw to Aderant.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems management within the legal industry and a proven track record of successful system conversions.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with two days per week in our client’s Chicago office. Candidates must be location to Chicago, IL.

Legal Financial Systems Manager Aderant Responsibilities :

• Lead the end-to-end project management of converting financial systems from ProLaw to Aderant
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure a seamless transition
• Develop and execute a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation
• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the firm’s financial systems
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy and security of financial data
• Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency
• Work closely with the finance, IT and legal teams to understand their requirements and integrate them into the system
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the system's effectiveness
• Act as the primary point of contact for any system-related issues or queries
• Plan and manage the data migration process, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
• Perform rigorous testing and validation to ensure the successful migration of all financial data
• Develop and generate financial reports and analytics to support decision-making
• Utilize Aderant’s reporting tools to create customized reports for various departments
• Ensure the financial systems comply with industry standards, regulations and best practices
• Stay updated with the latest developments in financial systems technology and legal industry trends

Legal Financial Systems Manager Aderant Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in financial systems management, preferably within a law firm
• Proven experience with ProLaw and Aderant, including system implementation and conversion projects
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in data migration, system testing and validation processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high data integrity and accuracy
