Embark Behavioral Health is looking for a Clinical Placement Specialist to join us in a newly established role. Do you align with our mission of reducing adolescent and young adult anxiety, depression and suicide?

As a Clinical Placement Specialist , you will be supported by an experienced Clinician and VP of Admissions that are focused on the mission to facilitate lasting positive change for young people and their families.
Responsibilities
- Review Admissions screening tool to assess for placement throughout Embarks continuum of care.
- Work with Admissions Counselors to ensure full clinical presentation is represented and provide a preliminary diagnosis based on ICD-10.
- Consult with referring professionals, as needed.
- Collaborate with UR department to obtain authorization for admission.
- Timely follow-up with families and referring partners to ensure optimal customer experience.
- Collaborate with program-based clinicians to ensure exceptional admission and treatment planning.
- Travel to programs and events, if requested.
- Problem solves complaints and concerns from families and referral sources to ensure resolution.
Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline.
- A desire to facilitate growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
- Four years of working experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions preferably in an IOP or PHP setting.
- Preferred - One year of experience in a residential or outpatient setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
- Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
- Ability to pass a state background check
