Purpose of Position :

This position will be responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support (hardware & software), training, and incident resolution to the user community to ensure optimum job efficiency and productivity.

Continuously provide consistently excellent customer service in an accurate, effective, and timely manner to create a pleasant and professional end-user experience.

Accountabilities :

  • Support and maintain Information Technology (IT) business applications to ensure a reliable and secure environment for staff
  • Report, troubleshoot, and escalate system faults to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Work with colleagues and other staff to promote the effective use of business systems across the organization.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues and drive creative solutions.
  • Maintain standards and procedures for all business functions.
  • Ensure incident and service requests are handled within SLA and in accordance with company policy.
  • Install, configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computer systems.
  • Manage asset inventory, including peripherals.
  • Software installation, updates, removal, and troubleshooting.
  • Involved in user onboarding and termination process.
  • Stays current with technological developments and recommends ways for Del Monte to take advantage of new technology.
  • Analyzing and making recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
  • Performs system backups and recovery.
  • Evaluation of hardware to determine if the asset needs to be replaced.
  • Removing old equipment and performing data migration to new machines.
  • Any other additional task as required by the business and the IT department.

Minimum Skills Required :

  • 4-year college degree in a related field (i.e., Information Systems, Information technology, MIS, etc.) from an accredited institution and / or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
  • At least 4 5 years of experience in an IT support environment. Experience working across functional teams.
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written, Spanish a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of current equipment, technology and operating systems (Linux, Windows administration, basic networking troubleshooting, system recovery and performance monitoring tools.)
  • Microsoft or Cisco Certifications a plus.
