Summary
Our client, a leading provider of surface products and building materials, is searching for an experienced HR Generalist to join their team! This opportunity offers the ability to make an immediate impact on every area of the organization.
Under direction from senior leadership, this individual will drive HR functions to positively impact the organizations culture, employee satisfaction, and growth!
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm on-site in Charlotte
Benefits : Full benefits including medical, dental, life, and PTO
Salary : $70,000-$77,000
Responsibilities :
- Enact safety / compliance measure to ensure company is kept compliant
- Process and administer payroll and benefits
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations. Strong emphasis on being a leader of culture
- Assist with recruitment / TA efforts
- Handle employee onboarding / offboarding with punctuality
- Travel to satellite locations to maintain employee relationships with HR team at home office
- Manage other administrative processes pertinent to HR functions
Qualifications
- 7+ years experience within progressive, hands-on, multifaceted HR positions required
- Strong knowledge of payroll / benefits administration
- Strong knowledge of safety / compliance measures
- Ability to communicate effectively with members of all areas of company
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be detail oriented / organized, and have an ability to shift focuses depending on urgency
- Paylocity experience strongly preferred
