Your New Role
Your Role Accountabilities
- Lead and manage payroll tax audits, ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local tax laws and regulations
- Act as main point of contact with tax authorities, responding to and resolving tax notices and inquiries
- Advise on and execute changes to payroll tax processes and procedures, working in partnership with Payroll, Production and Procure to Pay teams
- Manage third-party advisors to obtain expertise in foreign jurisdictions
- Support the Employment Tax Leadership with employment tax advisory matters
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant work experience as an Employment Tax specialist or in a similar role
- Payroll company or accounting firm experience preferred
- International work experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in accounting or related field
- CPA preferred
- US employment tax knowledge is required and global employment tax experience is highly desirable
- Strong report writing and negotiating skills
- Good communication skills and proven ability to develop strong professional relationships with internal and external parties.
- Experienced in problem solving and ability to apply sound judgement in making challenging decisions
- High level of attention to detail
