Description :
Dynamic, fast-growing E&P company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to perform, manage, and report on accounting activities across the organization.
This candidate should have experience with detail accounting processes, preferably in an Oil and Gas operator.
Responsibilities :
Performing monthly closing journal entries and account reconciliations.
Account for revenues to ensure that they are properly calculated, accounted for & distributed in accordance with the Joint Operating Agreements (JOAs).
Proper accounting, reporting and timely payment of all royalties and severance taxes (Texas).
Properly account and classify for all well expenditures and bill them to the respective wells / owners in accordance with the JOAs.
Properly account for all G&A expenditures.
Coordinating AFE set up, routing & tracking.
Perform ad hoc data analysis
Liaison with operations and provide timely research and reporting of CapEx
Perform vendor analysis and provide cost coding support to operations
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in accounting field.
Experience with Oil and Gas ERP (BOLO) software preferred.
5+ years of accounting experience for an oil & gas operator is preferred.
