StretchLab is hiring qualified Fitness Professionals, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Aids, Massage Therapists, Rehab Aides, Corrective Exercise Specialists & Graduates in Kinesiology, Exercise Science to join our growing team of Stretch Trainers at our three locations, Park Ridge, Glenview and Deer Park.

This is a great segway for those on a PT / OT track. You will gain valuable experience working hands on with a variety of clients, from young athletes to post PT clients, to seniors.

Basically, all populations looking to improve their mobility, flexibility & range of motion.

Assisted Stretching is the fastest growing Health / Wellness concept in the country! If you do any type of bodywork; Personal Trainer, Massage Therapist or are degreed in the Health Sciences, then you need to join our studio and get certified in Stretching & Flexibility.

Our Team is looking for motivated individuals who can commit 20+ hours per week and Saturday. This is an hourly position with base plus bonus.

LOOKING FOR MORNINGS 8-2pm, EVENINGS 2-8pm, SATURDAY SHIFTS, 4-6 HOURS! This is a perfect job to gain valuable hands-on experience while working one on one with a variety of clientele from young athletes to seniors and everyone in between.

StretchLab prides itself on having the finest team of stretching professionals. Our advanced "Flexologists" instructors receive extensive training, both classroom & hands-on thru our company paid, Flexologist Training Program (FTP), ensuring that our clients receive a world class stretching experience.

This is the only nationally accredited stretching brand for continuing education and our training is paid by ownership. Monthly workshops are held at our Park Ridge studio and limited to 12 people.

The goal of a Flexologist is to provide the best professional stretching experience for clients across a broad range of age & fitness levels.

A Flexologist guides every client through a 25 or 50 minute stretch session, using PNF, Static & Dynamic Stretching, making sure the client knows what the stretch is designed to do and how it should feel.

Total compensation will vary due to how many hours you are working with a client (utilization rate). Total hourly starting compensation $24 plus tips.

Total compensation will trend higher as you build a devoted clientele and will be re-evaluatated after 90 days.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions
• Educate clients on stretching techniques & mobility
• Create customized stretching experience for clients
• Help create a unique StretchLab Experience to build Memberships & Retention
• Ensure client safety thru proper stretch techniques & enforce StretchLab Polices & Safety Regulations
• Attend monthly staff meetings, training sessions, webinars & continuing education
• Attend offsite pop-up events thru out the community
• Help clean & maintain the studio environment & equipment

Required Characteristics & Experience

• Fitness or Wellness experience & background required for the position or Degree in Kinesiology / Exercise Science
• This position is not a Summer job or internship
• Must have professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our strict punctuality policies
• Ability to create a welcoming environment for all people
• Fantastic communication skills & exude empathy and compassion
• Must value connecting with people and have a passion for helping others achieve their goals
• MUST be team oriented ("we, not me")
• MUST BE COACHABLE AND HAVE STRONG DESIRE FOR GROWTH

Availability :

Shifts are generally 4-6 hours each and must be open to working some weekend days
