Senior Clinical Account Executive, Blood Gas

Nova Biomedical is hiring a Senior Clinical Account Executive to sell all Nova Biomedical Critical Care analyzers (Prime ES, Prime CCS Comp, Prime Plus, Prime Plus Vet ) to hospitals throughout New York City and northern New Jersey.

Accountable for driving sales results, sales revenue growth goals, penetration of key accounts, continued support of existing Nova blood gas customers through personal relationships and support.

Account Executive-Blood Gas Products will report to their respective Regional Sales Manager (RSM). We offer competitive base salary, uncapped commission, company car and many other comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities :

  • Direct sales of Nova Critical Care analyzers to both new and existing customers throughout specified territory.
  • Establish and develop relationships with clinical staff in key functional areas including OR, ED, ICU, Respiratory Therapy and lab by driving changes in clinical practice to leverage Nova’s unique critical care menu.
  • Identify clinical contacts and groups to be developed ay KOL’s with the support of Nova Medical and Scientific Affairs.
  • Generate leads and establish the sales funnel to include complex multi-institutional standardization initiatives and drive product interest through equipment demonstrations (demo’s), product evaluations, and committee presentations in each of these departments.
  • Establish and develop relationships with clinical decision makers through the presentation of superior clinical results, process improvements, and menu enhancements.
  • Drive long, complex sales processes involving multiple technical, clinical, contracting and purchasing contacts
  • Navigate and influence decision making within Integrated Health Networks (IHN), Group Purchasing Organization (GPO’s) and understand hospital affiliation with them.
  • Leverage Inside Sales through consistent communication to establish new contacts, penetrate accounts, coordinate meetings and help manage existing customer base.
  • Attend approved national, regional and local trade shows to help facilitate the promotion of Nova’s clinical products.
  • Work closely with the respective Nova Account Executive-Point of Care to fully penetrate accounts and identify sales opportunities for the entire Nova product portfolio to develop effective Nova Centers of Excellence.
  • Manage pricing, negotiations, and contracting throughout the sales life cycle
  • Comply with and complete all administrative responsibilities as directed by management including but not limited to weekly expense reports, monthly review of territory business plan with RSM, conference call attendance, correspondence with sales management data base, etc...

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience with documented success changing clinical practice and process flow.
  • Direct experience having high-level clinical discussions with thought leaders and target functional department heads.
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to self-manage complex sales cycles
  • Capital equipment sales to hospitals and hospital networks with documented success selling to clinical function heads and standardization of IHNs.
  • Strong B2B background with multi-level & committee sales history
  • BA / BS degree required.

$150k Base Salary, $100k OTE
