The position :
Shipping & Receiving Attendant (Material Handler) for 1st shift. Provide material handling support for our Shipping & Receiving Department utilizing a forklift.
Typical hours are Monday - Friday, 7 : 00am to 5 : 30pm but may vary due to business needs. Must be available for overtime including occasional Saturdays and during peak production times.
Job duties :
- Work independently to fulfill job duties
- Operate a forklift
- Move required materials to work centers
- Load and unload trucks
- Perform clerical functions such as basic data entry, and excel
- Create bill of ladings when required
- Operate forklift to store fixtures in appropriate locations
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
The Right Person / What We need from you :
- Previous material handling experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read & write English
- Forklift certification required
- Requires a high school diploma / GED or equivalent
- Basic computer skills a plus
