As a Global Footwear Developer at Vans, you are in charge of managing footwear projects from establishment of the tech package to final confirmation.

The projects you are overseeing are inclusive of in-line, photo / sales samples, production confirmation samples. In this position, you are responsible for the timely confirmation of projects and supporting the commercialization / production efforts for Kids Lifestyle category.

You will also manage the Lifestyle Library. This role will report to the Director and Senior manager for LifeStyle development.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

• Checking in samples shipments, delivery samples, breaking down boxes andbuilding boxes.
• Maintaining storage space and when needed matching samples.
• Checking and responding to emails.
• Building bom’s in PLM.
• Filling in development items in PLM line list.
• Filing swatches in lifestyle library
• Checking samples against Bom, cad and pantone, color swatches.
• Maintain margin, costing and offering cost saving.
• Writing CAT B orders when necessary.

What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1-2 years of experience and professional achievements

The foundation skills you will need in this position are :

• Footwear product creation
• PLM Softwear knowledge
• Strong computer skills
• Cross-cultural written & verbal communication skills
• Follows through with all tasks, assignments, and job duties in a timely manner

Hiring Range :

$69,984.00 USD - $87,480.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
