We are looking for a Sourcing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our headquarters in New York City and reports to the Director of Sourcing, Jewelry & Fashion Accessories

Primary Job Responsibilities :

• Responsible for negotiations for best possible cost service guarantee and develop strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers
• Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models
• Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities
• Develop a supplier management program with key suppliers including metrics, performance goals and Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
• Develop forecasts for future demand and place orders in a timely fashion based upon vendor lead-time
• Purchase order entry, maintenance and tracking with overseas vendors to ensure on time delivery.
• Planning and scheduling orders
• Issue product specifications in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements to vendors.
• Issue PO packing, labeling and shipping instructions to vendors
• Communicate with international vendors on a daily basis
• Interact with Design and Sales Departments on development of products.
• Maintain and follow up on product status calendar for pre-production samples, lab testing and production approvals
• Tracking shipments from preproduction to postproduction.
• Other tasks as required

Education & Experience :

• 1+ yrs experience in Sourcing
• Experience with contract manufacturing vendors
• Ability to manage projects and establish clear goals and accountabilities to ensure successful delivery (on time, within budget, meeting agreed upon success criteria)
• Mandarin speaking highly preferred
