Position : Logistics Team Lead
Location : One Logistics Network
Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced logistics professional to join our team as a Logistics Team Lead.
The Logistics Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the logistics department, including managing the day-to-day operations, supervising team members, and ensuring that all shipments are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Supervise and lead a team of logistics coordinators and staff to ensure smooth operations.
2. Plan and coordinate transportation of goods, including scheduling shipments, determining optimal routes, and tracking deliveries.
3. Oversee team management and ensure accurate compliance levels to meet customer needs.
4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
5. Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
6. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to logistics operations and provide regular reports to management.
7. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing the transportation and storage of goods.
8. Train and mentor team members to ensure high levels of performance and professionalism.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
