OVERVIEW
Cache County is looking for a Office Specialist to support our Development Services Department. The Office Specialist will perform a variety of administrative, technical, and clerical duties as needed or assigned to expedite the day-to-day department operations.
The Office Specialist generally works Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. The Office Specialist is a full-time, benefitted position.
Available benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance on the first day of employment, retirement contributions, bereavement leave, and 14 paid holidays.
Full-time employees also receive 18 days of personal leave in the first year of employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Office Specialist duties include monitoring and assisting with assigned calendars to assure against scheduling conflicts;
- providing various forms of support to office staff in assisting the public; processing payments into department financial accounts and managing processes related to general revenues of the department;
Organizing and maintaining department procedures, training schedules, and other operational documentation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or GED; AND 1 year of experience in general office practices including administrative, technical, and clerical duties OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
