Our client, a very well-known, large distributor in Clinton, MD is looking to hire Senior Accountant to their team! They have been in business over 40 years and due to growth they are restructuring and expanding their current accounting team and adding a Senior Accountant!
This role is HYBRID with 2 days / week onsite in the office, and 3 days remote!

Senior Accountant Job Responsibilities :
- Lead the charge in overseeing the month-end close process with finesse and precision.
- Maintain impeccable balance sheet schedules, ensuring thorough backup documentation for enhanced clarity and accuracy.
- Navigate complex financial landscapes with ease, from fixed asset management to budget-to-actual financial analysis.
- Champion data integrity across various subledgers, ensuring compliance and reliability in all financial reporting.
Senior Accountant Requirements / Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 4+ years experience in a corporate accounting environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to resolve complex problems with multiple variables
- Ability to work effectively independently, accurately, and contribute to a team-oriented environment in a fast-paced and changing business climate
- Highly organized, flexible, and detail-oriented individual who can perform and execute under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of advanced Excel practices
