We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our client in the Newark area.
Working hours : Monday to Thursday, 8am 5pm and Friday 8am 4.30pm
Salary : £35,000 + and is to be discussed at interview and is dependent on experience.

Duties may include but are not limited to :
Reviewing project specifications, and other documents to understand project requirements.
Analysing electrical systems and components to accurately estimate labour, materials and equipment costs.
Liaising with engineers, projects managers, and clients to clarify project scope and objectives.
Generating detailed cost estimates and proposals for electrical installations.
Obtaining competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services.
Attending site visits and inspections to assess project conditions and requirements.
Identifying potential risks, challenges, and opportunities for cost saving during the estimating process.
Maintaining accurate records of project estimates and associated information.
Communicating effectively with stakeholders to present and discuss project estimates and proposals.
Providing support to project teams during the bidding, planning and construction phases of projects.
The ideal candidate will have :
Proven experience as an electrical estimator within the construction industry with the ability to accurately estimate project costs, including labour, materials, and equipment and health & safety knowledge would be beneficial.
Full UK driving licence.
Working knowledge of SEC cypher estimating package or similar.
18th edition amendment 2.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
