Maintenance Technician

Currently, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician to become a part of the HIROTEC team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faulty machinery.
- Installing new production equipment.
- Create and implement maintenance standard operating procedures based on specific machine knowledge.
- Performs mechanical repairs and removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand / power tools.
- Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
- Work with 2D and 3D computer-aided design and manufacturing software such as CAD or CAM.
- Repair methods, including welding, inserting, or replacing items, will need to be made with consideration to quality, cost, and delivery.
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
- Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Complete required documentation, manually or by data entry
- Organize safe maintenance principles for regulating and scheduling breakdowns.
- Equipment / asset care and Planned Preventive Maintenance processes and procedures.
- Prioritize and complete daily work orders.
- Overall plant maintenance and other directives as requested by management.
- Participate in 5S, Quality, Safety, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing activities.
- Comply with Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards, procedures, and instructions.
- Maintain and improve high product quality by setting / managing proper welding conditions.
- Other duties and projects may be assigned based on the operational objectives of the company.
- Ideal candidate should have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years of maintenance experience in automotive manufacturing / production environment;
or equivalent combination of education and / or experience.
