Marcum LLP is seeking an Experienced Recruiter in Washington, DC! We are looking for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment that embraces innovative ideas.

Job Summary

The Experienced Recruiter will be responsible for full cycle recruiting for all roles within our office including : Client Accounting & Advisory Services, Audit, Tax, and Human Resources Consulting.

The Experienced Recruiter will recruit effectively across a variety of positions and business lines, demonstrating the ability to successfully multi-task and work within a deadline driven environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks and offers.
  • Coordinates with hiring manager(s) to determine recruiting strategies and selection criteria for each open position : job specifications, job description, and workflow.
  • Sources active and passive candidates through postings on job boards, online search engines, LinkedIn Recruiter search, networking, career fairs and other creative initiatives for locating qualified candidates.
  • Leads candidate interviewing process : application process, pre-employment assessments, scheduling of interviews, coordinating conference rooms and virtual media, presenting candidates to hiring managers.
  • Assists Human Resources team with Campus Recruiting.
  • Creates and develops effective recruitment marketing campaigns and channels to source candidates, including advertisements, hiring events, career centers, and job programs.
  • Maintains Applicant Tracking System (ATS) : job postings, open position information, candidate details, workflow, etc.
  • Partners with hiring managers and HR representatives to identify solutions to recruiting challenges throughout the recruiting cycle.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of full cycle recruiting experience in a human resources department or at a staffing agency.

Focus on accounting roles is a major plus!

  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of recruitment tools and technologies : applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software and candidate databases.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations pertaining to recruiting.
  • Team player with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail, customer service oriented.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Compensation Range

Salary : $80,000.00 - $95,000.00
