Compliance Debt Relief Manager

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the compliance aspects of the debt relief department.
• Ensure all debt relief practices adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits of debt relief processes to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations that affect the debt relief industry, and adjust policies as necessary.
• Provide training and support to the debt relief team on compliance-related matters.
• Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies and manage any compliance-related inquiries or audits.
• Report on compliance status and any issues to senior management.
• Work closely with legal counsel to address any potential compliance risks.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, law, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in regulatory compliance, particularly within the debt relief or financial services industry.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
