This company provides a product made from recycled plastic and natural fillers. Save the Earth! Create materials sold to commercial and residential flooring markets, but other diverse markets such as commercial building and construction, commercial transportation, signage, manufactured housing, restaurant, and RV's. This company grew by over 100% during it's first four years of business! SEEK is currently interviewing for Machine Operators on a variety of shifts in River Falls, Wisconsin.

Position – Machine Operator

Job Location – River Falls, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (5am-3 : 30pm, 4 days as assigned Mon-Fri),

Starting Pay – $20 - $22 hour Depending on Experience

Required Education – High School Diploma / GED, 2 year degree preferred

Required Experience – Previous experience in plastics manufacturing, previous experience in extrusion is a plus

The Operator is responsible for effectively operating and maintaining manufacturing tools and equipment and assisting other areas of operations when needed.

Responsibilities

Operate plant equipment effectively

Ability to start, operate and shut down and clean compounding lines and axillary equipment.

Set up and prepare materials, equipment, and paperwork for processing

Comply with all quality standards

Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and operating issues

Comply with all safety and housekeeping policies

Load and unload trucks as necessary

Operate forklift and other powered equipment

Report incidents, safety concerns, and equipment issues to supervisor

Any and all other duties assigned

Qualifications

Commitment to safety of self and others

Strong math skills

Operate material handling equipment – forklifts, pallet jacks etc.

Be able to lift heavy items on a regular basis, up to 50 lbs.

Bending, twisting, climbing and overhead work as needed.

Prolonged standing

Ability to multi-task

Attention to detail

Basic computer skills

Work self directed as needed

Strong organizational skills

Strong interpersonal skills
