Job Overview : The Executive Director of Seasonal Occasions is responsible for leading strategic initiatives for various seasonal occasions (e.
g., Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day) across all retail spaces. This role involves working closely with Occasion Leaders to drive retail productivity, market growth, and profitability while collaborating with multiple departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead financial planning and estimating for seasonal occasions.
- Develop occasion plans, including marketing strategies, product mix, and pricing.
- Drive retail productivity growth through optimized product assortments.
- Collaborate with Sales to deliver growth plans for key accounts (e.g., Target, Walmart).
- Partner with various departments (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain) on business model planning.
- Develop distribution plans and manage program transitions.
- Oversee budget planning, career development, and team management.
- Present to internal and external stakeholders regularly.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business / Marketing; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in retail / consumer products.
- 5+ years of experience managing a team of 5+ direct reports and 20+ indirect reports.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and financial acumen skills.
- Proficient in MS Office
