Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Understands the P&L for the spectrum of seasonal occasions and drives continuous growth.
- Serves as a business lead for Financial Planning & Estimating.
- Responsible for leading the development of Occasion Plans for seasonal occasions, working closely with occasion leaders, including marketing / promotion strategy, product mix, placement, and pricing strategy across categories.
- Delivers retail productivity growth by curating assortments through optimized POGs on an ongoing basis.
- Delivers product requirements (category / format / caption, COGs & Price) to Product Organization to support product development for existing categories.
- Collaborates with Sales to deliver growth plans for all key seasonal occasions in all top accounts (Target, Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, Meijer, Shoppers Drug Mart).
- Drives retail activity calendar and initiative plans in partnership with Occasion Leads, Sales, Supply Chain, and FMO.
- Collaborates with Finance, Sales, Product, and Supply Chain on business model planning and terms negotiation.
- Partners with Product Organization by delivering business growth plans for category or format expansion, based on consumer occasion celebrations trends and retailer / competitive landscape.
- Collaborates with Product Organization on distribution plans to scale new categories for cost-effectiveness.
- Manages POG catalog across Category & designated Occasion spaces.
- Works with Product Organization to plan and execute refresh and testing plans (Product-led) to determine how learnings will be strategically executed moving forward.
- Develops distribution plans for program transitions and occasion sets to inform Supply Chain inventory build.
- Works with direct reports (Occasion Leaders) and Chief Merchandising Officer to develop an occasion-based consumer research agenda.
- Responsible for budget planning, career development (including hiring and training), and prioritizing team projects and planning.
- Develops associates within the department to maintain an engaged and collaborative workforce, with clear succession plans and actionable development plans.
Cultivates future leaders.
Delivers presentations to internal Executive Leadership and external stakeholders (customers, vendors, etc.) on a regular basis.

Required Education :
Bachelor's of Science in Business / Marketing or related degree. Master’s degree preferred.
Required Length & Type of Experience :
- 10+ years of prior retail / consumer product analyst experience demonstrating the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is critical.
- Manager of managers; Minimum of 5 years prior experience managing a team of 5+ direct reports; 20+ indirect reports.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

- This position has full P&L responsibility and decision-making for Seasonal Occasions

- Specific industry-related product knowledge.
- Ability to effectively manage one’s time & resources to ensure multiple priorities are balanced & managed successfully.
- Strong PC skills to include excellent knowledge of MS Office.
