Position Overview

The Product Strategy Director is a key player in the Innovation team. They will help capture the voice of the customer & state of the market, define strategy & vision across potential product investments, & amplify our product vision in the market.

The role requires a solid understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem & technologies, the ability to communicate & influence across a variety of stakeholders & teams, a focus on developing internal & external content that effectively captures the customer voice, & a strong level of organization & attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the voice of the customer by managing the intake & backlog of customer, general market & internal sales teams product priority requests
  • Partner with product, commercial & partnership teams during planning cycles to insert customer & business needs into the prioritization process
  • Develop internal & external content that highlights customer value & strategic direction for all releases within the product roadmap
  • Manage the innovation team roadmap presentation as part of external customer presentations
  • Contribute to industry thought leadership by authoring & collaborating on webinars, conferences, & other thought leadership
  • Understand business & client use cases, along with an understanding of technical functionality, across the full suite DVs Products
  • Be an advocate for customers & client-facing teams by understanding the DV customer & commercial expectations & help Product bridge the gap to be a good internal partner
  • Understand competitive position of products & guide product teams to develop differentiated solutions that are best in the industry

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of full time working experience in online advertising
  • Past experience working directly with clients & supporting client-facing teams
  • Strong analytical skills & critical thinking
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Organized with a rigorous attention to detail
  • Ability to converse & work equally as well between sales, technical, client, & leadership teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in product marketing and / or other marketing disciplines
  • Deep knowledge & experience with digital advertising technologies
  • Experience with verification, activation, performance and / or outcomes advertising solutions
  • Successfully led new products or features to market
  • Experience working as a digital media planner or related field

The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.

The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $140,000-278,000 .

This role will also be eligible for bonus / commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits.
