Job Summary
The Business Development Representative will be instrumental to Triple Ring meeting revenue and growth targets by supporting our business development process through researching, identifying, capturing, tracking, and following up with contacts and new potential customers.
This position will collaborate with Triple Ring's executives, engineers, and scientists, to prospect for new clients and technology development projects.
The Business Development Representative position requires a hunter mentality and an ability to work cross-functionally and within teams.
The position reports to the Commercial General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Identify local, regional, and national networking events and conferences where high-value prospective clients gather
- Plan and coordinate Triple Ring attendance at events and conferences
- Attend conferences and other industry networking events to promote Triple Ring's services and build relationships
- Drive follow up process with Triple Ring staff after event attendance
- Identify qualified opportunities within target client organizations and promote Triple Ring's service capabilities
- Collaborate with technical staff and senior team to drive the sales process
- Heavy Salesforce usage to capture sales activity, meetings, and opportunities, and to measure, forecast, and manage sales efforts
- Leverage online tools and paid services to research, identify, and capture high-value contact information to feed Account Based Marketing efforts
- Consistently hit / exceed weekly, quarterly, and annual business development activity targets
Education, Experience and Skills
- BS / BA degree in Engineering or Science disciplines preferred
- 3-5 years of sales experience
- Strong active listening skills, excellent written and oral communications required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, outgoing personality and ability to network
- Proactive and action-oriented work ethic, balanced with attention to detail
- Experience and proficiency with SalesForce or other customer resource management (CRM) tool
- Experience selling medical devices or life science products a plus
- Strong team player and builder, receptive to ideas from others
- Ability to work onsite in Newark, CA at least 3 days per week
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

The annual salary range for jobs which are performed in US, California is $75,000.00 to $105,000.00. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and work location.
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which requires working onsite a minimum of 3 days per week : Tuesday, Wednesday, and 1-day of your choice.
In certain circumstances the hybrid work model may change to accommodate business needs.
