Job Description
You will be Sustainment Supply Logistics and Inventory Management Senior Manager - Level 6.
What You Will Be Doing
You will lead the Sustainment Supply Operations and Logistics Logistics and Inventory Management team. The current team is 30 plus leaders and individuals supporting all Aeronautics lines of business.
You will provide both supply expertise as well as leadership to a diverse team.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Overseeing project management integration and performance management for strategic supply functions to include export / import licensing, warehousing / distribution of assets, property management, etc.
- Maintaining processes and ensuring execution of wholistic wholesale and retail inventory management
- Establishing the IT infrastructure, processes, and data needed to meet government mandated Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) requirements
- Providing Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation data
- Coordinating transportation solutions
- Providing 3rd Party Logistics Providers (3PL) warehouse management for sustainment supply support
- Managing activation of new customer sites for supply operations
- Coordinating participation in customer reviews and other key customer-driven events
- Collaborating with program management teams and other functional departments to plan and organize work to ensure program performance
- Managing team deliverables to meet or exceed budget, schedule and performance goals using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Project Management principals
- Administering selection of new employees, performance assessments, work assignments, and awards and recognition
- Operating programs in accordance with company objectives, policies, and procedures
- Establishing and maintaining work standards consistent with Aeronautics Operating Model practices
- Instituting and maintaining a team culture consistent with OneLM behaviors of Collaborate to Win, Accelerate Change, and Hear and Be Heard

Desired skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Prior supply management and supply solution development experience
- Retail and wholesale supply experience
- Strong understanding of military and government supply and transportation policies and processes
- Experience working with DLA, USTRANSCOM, and government Depots
- Experience with Import / Export Licensing
- SAP, ALIS, Goldesp or other Warehouse Management System Experience
- Working knowledge of Performance Based Logistics (PBL) concepts
