Requisition Summary
Design, develop, direct and implement programs and processes to insure uninterrupted material flow to and from Peterbilt MSS’s with adequate financial / process control.
Oversee outsourcing / MSS department and develop / monitor metrics. Maintain a constructive business relationship with the MSS base;
negotiate delivery issues.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Strategic Supply Chain initiatives, including all aspects of material outsourcing strategy development and deployment, MSS process and technology development, MSS logistics, and MSS KPI development, monitoring, and improvement.
- Drive development of improved planning tools to support production and material flow to / from MSS Service providers and plant.
- Ensure materials systems, such as PFEP, are developed / maintained to support the needs of the business.
- Direct manager of Outsourcing, MSS logistics, PFEP, and MSS Liaison Teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Materials Management or a related field required.
Master’s in Business Administration preferred
- Minimum of five years of managerial experience, preferably two years within PACCAR
- Familiar with Copics and Bin Tracker System
- Preferable knowledge / Exposure to SAP
- Understanding and training in Six Sigma and lean principles
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to initiate, lead change and manage multiple functions
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient P.C. skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Materials Management or a related field required.
Master’s in Business Administration preferred
