What the Revenue Accountant will do :

• Oversee booking Month-End Revenue, Billing, Rebates.
• Contract based billing, posting, and review; Auditing Cash Posting and Credit Posting.
• Perform Revenue Reconciliations, Subledger to General Ledger Reconciliations; AMEX and Bank Reconciliations.
• Responsible for managing Vendor Accounts- offboarding vendor accounts, final invoices, and auditing the account for close.
• Prepare and maintain revenue-related financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee daily / monthly / quarterly billing; to include reviewing billing processes and systems to optimize efficiency and accuracy, reducing billing errors and delays.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing relevant revenue-related documentation.
• Streamline processes, develop, and implement best practices, and leverage automation tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Accounting Liaison who provides guidance and support in revenue-related matters, ensuring alignment between financial goals and operational activities.

Collaborate with sales, operations, legal, and finance teams to understand business operations, sales strategies, and contractual terms.

Requirements of the Revenue Accountant :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3 years’ minimum accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and revenue recognition standards.
• Experience in revenue accounting or a related financial role.
• NetSuite and Salesforce highly preferred.
• Excel - Formulas, Pivot Tables, V / H Lookups
