Position Announcement
Utah Valley University is seeking three interns to help manage and run social media accounts and digital campaigns for the University Marketing and Communications department.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Employ project management and social media tools in gathering, calendaring, and publishing content for university
- social media platforms.
- Actively engage with the university's social media community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions to
- foster positive interactions.
- Assist in managing the progress of several campaigns simultaneously, sometimes under pressure with deadlines.
- Contribute to and aid in the content creation process for multiple media platforms.
- Engage in brainstorming and team meetings to generate ideas.
- Liaise with various areas within the University Marketing and Communications department and other departments
- and programs to support marketing efforts.
- Assist in the development and execution of Google Ads and social media ad campaigns to promote university
- initiatives, events, and programs.
- Provide support for digital marketing campaigns, including coordinating assets, tracking performance, and contributing insights for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a current UVU student.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms. Knowledge of analytical tools.
- Creative mindset.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Prior experience with marketing or social media.
