The Junior Graphic Designer works directly with the Lead Graphic Designer in supporting the Wild's internal and external partners in fulfilling promotional, game day, and other key simple and complex graphic requests.
The role requires a creative mind with a passion for customer service and bringing new and fresh ideas to the table to best support the organization's efforts to create a greater state of hockey.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Work under the supervision of the Graphic Designer to ensure all production requests from internal and external customers are fulfilled.
Collaborate and create graphic designs and layout elements for advertising, publications, marketing, social media and websites utilizing Adobe Creative Suite products and other programs.
Utilize ad mats and other information provided to design / redesign content for desired results.Adhere to brand imaging standards ensuring look and feel consistency.
Utilize project management software to manage project tasks, deadlines and communication needs.Regularly interact with internal customers on projects.
Create and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization.Assists in production of graphics for arena matrix displays and video productions.
Actively participates in department creative efforts.Perform other duties as assigned.Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
Pursuing or completed Associate's degree with major in graphic design or related creative field, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Design Certificate a plus.Knowledge & Experience
Experience with InMotion is helpful but not required.Proven graphic design technical abilities with a strong understanding of layout, color theory and typography in both print and digital media.
Demonstrated creative mindset with a passion about excellent creative execution.High-proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Suite- Adobe After Effects proficiency a plus.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and Word.Ability to take constructive input / critique from others.
Strong design style, including creative design solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Strong organizational and time management skills with detail orientation.Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and achieve desired end results.

Primary duties are performed within an office environment, sitting at desk for up to 8 hours per day.Work schedule includes some evenings and weekends.
Sedentary work, repetitive tasks and fine manipulation.Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
